Hi out there in Black Bear Hockey land!

I just thought I would make sure everyone is still alive and ready for
an exciting run for Maine Hockey in 1998. I know I'm ready. I was
encouraged by Maine's recent two game set at UML. I wasn't able to make
either game but I think they showed more consistent good play than they
had shown in some time.

An aside - I was at the BU/UNH game on 12/12. It was a classic. I was
very surprised to see BU wilt under the pressure - it was quite nice to
see Jack get frustrated and wonder what had happened... ;-)

BTW, has anyone heard any update on the condition of UNH star forward
Mark Mowers??? I had heard that his return might be delayed until
sometime in 1998 as they weren't going to let him resume workouts until
the headaches had subsided.

Happy Holiday everyone!

Let's wish for a rejuvenated Black Bear hockey team in 1998!

Go Blue!

- Kevin
