I am surprised to have been the only Maine list subscriber who was there
(and willing to write). I'll tell you, my Saturday writing was an effort.

I was trying to use the Foster's (Daily Democrat) website to give a link to
a story on the NH game, but they do not carry their Sunday (Citizen)
edition on-line. Nor did today's Portland paper have anything on-line.
Maybe in both cases, there will be a story in their Monday editions. I am
interested in a more balanced version of the Mowers incident, in order to
post it to the USCHO moron thread on Walsh.

I will endeavor to offer the list more commentary when I am at other games
here in the Boston area. Next visit with our beloved team will be for the
games vs. Lowell in two weekends.

Also, we likely will visit the Lowell downtown brewpub before the Saturday
game, (AKA Hops and Hockey) and offer you all the opportunity for
fellowship in the bonds of college hockey if anyone is willing to join us.
e-mail me privately if interested.

Who wants to start an interesting thread -- NH is a bunch of traitors. Can
they explain why they didn't play the National Anthem before the NH - Maine
game Saturday night ? They had a woman student sing it a capella before
both games on Friday night. Why did they suddenly in one day decide that
it was unnecessary ? They certainly could find annoying techno and the
usual jock rock crap to play, I could have referred them to a record store
in Portsmouth who would have had a version of the Star Spangled Banner (or
God Bless America instead) for their use.

Live free or die, but pay a buck to drive into the state (and for all you
MADD supporters - drive by the liquor stores). Oh, well...
