1. Isn't this group of freshmen (Tate, Kerluke, Trattnig, the Lundbacks..or
at least Anders, Begg and Jaaskelainen) the most exciting bunch to watch
since the Paul Kariya class?

2. Where and the heck was the Pep Band? Has the Blue Line Club disbanded?
Are the students students studying :-) or just too timid to make noise?
Are the season ticket holders getting too old to yell? Alfond was more like
a library than a "house of horrors" for a visiting team.

3. On the plus side, "The Naked Five" did get the crowd aliive for a few
minutes.

4. I've watched a lot of hockey in Europe and I'm amazed to see this group
of Swedes, Finns and Austrians playing not only the fast paced, sharp
passing brand of hockey that one expects to see from Europeans but they
also play a very physical type of game. What a great job by the coaching
staff to find these talented kids.

5. Is there any word on the status of Brendan Walsh and his appeal to the NCAA?

6. It was good to see Scott Parmentier flying around the ice, when he is on
his game he can be very exciting.

7. Bryan Masotta played a nice game at goal and should be able to give
Alfie Michaud some badly need rest during the season. This could be
important come tournament time.

8. The Black Bears can not play a period of lack luster hockey if they are
to beat this good Colorado College team.
