They certainly did.  I went into the game mildly rooting for BU, but North
Dakota really impressed the heck out of me in that period.  Their heart and
determination made it difficult not to root for them in that game.

I can understand why he's said that.  A lot of people have come down hard
on BU because they didn't have as dominating a regular season as they have
in past years, yet won Hockey East.  People had a lack of respect for BU
and Hockey East in general.  Regardless of today's outcome BU did their
school and conference good in the NCAA Tournament.

I understand this is a joke.. or I'm going to take it as such :-) because
as I said yesterday this has nothing to do with Maine, except that they are
in the same conference.
 
Maine fans should take pride in that they swept the team that went to the
NCAA title game (don't think for a minute that Walsh won't remind the boys
of this), and look forward to next season.
 
But BU had a great season, and a great tournament.  Regardless of what you
think of them, IMHO at the very least you have to respect the effort.  A
lot of good Maine teams didn't even make it as far as BU did today.
 
October cannot come soon enough.  :-(
