There are no cream puffs in HEA! The Millennium Bears may surprise
us in a few weeks, but right now we are the 3rd to 5th-best team in HEA.
Well, we played pretty well, but didn't dominate. Who picked
the 1st star? Larose, Larose, Larose! (Yeats and others played well).
Saturday night Yeats played just as well and the Bears won by the same
5-2 score. I'd give stars to Guite and Beggs (one of the best games
I've seen Beggs play ... wish everyone could improve as much as he
has). Other having important roles were Leger, Walsh, Larose, Tratnig
and Metcalf, IMHO. B. Heisten had some good times on the ice, but
failed to recognize what referee Fitzgerald would call a penalty
(anything!) and created many UMA powerplay opportunities.
cheers, wayne
