Yes, you're right about going off without handshakes. Coach Crowder of NE
saw this, and held his hands out to the side, most likely wondering "what's
with that ?"  But, remember, it is a two-game set.  They may have been
waiting for the final game to do so.
 
Coach Walsh went right out nearly to center ice to confront Bunyon after
the game.  They held a conversation for a couple of minutes or so, then
Crowder came over.  Walsh and Crowder shook hands and held a brief
conversation, and the looks on their faces seemed relatively calm.
 
I only wish NE would announce SOG over the public address, or post them on
a shot clock; I would have commented on THAT !!
