As somone trapped in a cul-de-sac on the information superhighway, I want to
thank Bill Fenwick for posting the conference standings to the list. I know
I am not the only person using old technology (286) to access the list. I do
not have the ability to down load web sites, nor the $$ to upgrade, so I
really am glad that somone posts this information. Seeing all the references
to WWW sites is kind of like being a kid lock out of a candy store only able
to plaster his face onto the glass. So while the standings might seem to
clutter bandwidth, to some of us they are vital. Thanks, Bill.

On another topic, who has the polish for the ceramic dalmation? Early poles
are a lot like early power ratings. They really do not mean anything.
Consider that even the teams furthest into their schedules have played only
15% of the games, and other teams have yet to open the regular season, so how
do you evaluate them?
Do not take things to seriously, the best teams will be note by March.
