Come on, Boys, ain't it enough to have "In God We Trust" on them old
greenbacks? Like I said -the chrematistic meliorist - usually you will find
him like the Calvinist or Calvinist of a freer confession on the interest
receiving end, more often than not taking a double dip, and while the goose
keeps on laying, why upset the roost?
Oh, Joe, and the time-honored political right to repudiate the National
Debt is also, yes, dressed in olive drab- khaki when it put Pound in the
nut-box.
"Avarice", the poet concluded when he finally thought it all through, but
Veblen could have saved him some time. "The predatory instinct and the
consequent approbation of the predatory efficiency are deeply ingrained in
the habits of thought of those peoples who have passed under the discipline
of a protracted predatory culture." Or as my old man who was a lawyer for 43
years once told me, "We're all just pickin' shit with the chickens". He came
from a farm and knew Brer Rabbit personally.
