Responding to my own (dumb) post: (sorry!)

CC has to go to the West Regional as host (as UNH goes to the NE
Regional). Simply switching HC & CC corrects this, but makes #1 NoDak's
regional the toughest, as well as having 3 out of 4 WCHA teams. Maybe I
should have rooted for UMass beating Maine last night (and taking CC's
place)? Nah.

The problem my layout started with was a CCHA Michigan vs Miami 2/3
matchup in the West, which I resolved sending Denver there from the NE
for Michigan.

So to resolve this, I'm going to move the whole NoDak regional to Grand
Rapids, and still switch Michigan for Denver. Minnesota would open with
fellow WCHA CC, but I don't think that can be helped without
reorganizing the top 4 seeds (ME or BC West & MN East), something the
Committee seems reluctant to do. So here's my redress ...

Midwest - Grand Rapids, MI

1 North Dakota vs 16 Holy Cross
  7 Denver vs 9 Miami

(winner of winners to Frozen Four game 2 - home team)

West - Colorado Springs, CO

4 Minnesota vs 13 Colorado College
  5 Minnesota-Duluth vs 12 Michigan State

(winner of winners to Frozen Four game 2 - visiting team)

Northeast - Manchester, NH

2 Boston College vs 15 Niagara
8 Michigan vs 11 New Hampshire

(winner of winners to Frozen Four game 1 - home team)

East - Albany, NY

  3 Maine vs 14 Harvard
6 Ohio State vs 10 Wisconsin

(winner of winners to Frozen Four game 1 - visiting team)

P.S. the real story still on ESPN2 Sun at 2:30 ET.

cheers, wayne
