On Sunday the Maine women got the job done, beating Cornell 2-1. Maine's
two freshmen sensations, Karen Droog and Meghan Aarts, scored the goals
while Dawn Froats played in goal.

Aarts scored the game winning goals in the last two games, and it may be
all three games in Maine's three-game win streak. Aarts had a hat trick
in that game (4-3 win over Niagara).

Maine is now 13-12-1 and 8-11-1 in the ECAC, 3 points out of the last
playoff spot. Maine has two games in hand over 8th-place Niagara and has
4 games left on the schedule.
