0 Former UMaine hockey player John Tortorella has been named head coach
of the National Hockey League's Tampa Bay Lightning.  Tortorella, whose
brother Jim played with him at UMaine and is the coach at Colby
College, was a Black Bear from 1977-81, the first years of the UMaine
program.  An Associated Press story, which appeared in today's BDN,  is
on the Web at
