If Noah Pransky (a pretty good reporter, but a Boston and BU guy)
has Maine slated fourth, shine up the cup, it should be a great
year for the men from Orono. :-)

But unless our frosh can put the puck in the net AND play defense,
my picks are: BU UNH-- BC ME-- UMA PC MC -- NU UML.

Scoring for the top half of the league may drop off dramatically.

Blue/White game Friday evening --- please show your support!
It's only $2 for non-students. Plenty of seats available at the door.

By the way, season tix are out with no surprises from the latest schedule
posted here and available at the "new look" Maine Hockey web site at

      http://www.UMaine.edu/Hockey/

Finally, AD Sue Tyler apparently nixed Midnight Madness. The BDN
reported she requested no Midnight Madness of Coach Walsh and he obliged.
The reported reason for the request was over-extending of the department
(facilities) staff.

Drop the puck!
