Saturday in Hockey East...

According to USCHO, #6 Maine (9-1-1) wins the Governor's Cup with a 2-0
win over Vermont. The Portland Press Herald had stated Mike Morrison
would start the game, and if so this is certainly a great rebound for
him after being pulled in his last start.

#7 New Hampshire (8-2-1) takes third-place with a solid 5-1 win over
UMass-Lowell (4-7-0) in the consolation game.

Maine and UNH have each won two Governor's Cups, and supposedly this is
the last year the tournament will be held.

In other action...

#3 Boston College (7-3-1) lost 2-1 to Clarkson (3-6) tonight. This is
a real interesting result as the Golden Knights earn only their third
win of the year over the No. 3 team in the country. Look for BC to
continue its fall down the poll.

Boston University (3-8-1) beat #10 St. Lawrence (6-4) 2-1, while
Northeastern (4-7) took care of Army 5-1, and Providence (6-6) downed
Yale 5-3.
