Here is something you all might find interesting since Niagara comes to
town this weekend as part of the JC Penney Classic. They could very easily
be playing Maine on Saturday night.

From USA Today..

Niagara stuns Michigan
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Division I independent Niagara Purple Eagles were
actually purple eaters Saturday night, biting defending NCAA champion
Michigan, 2-1. On Friday, Niagara lost 6-5 in overtime to the Wolverines.
Michigan, ranked No. 2 nationally, opened the scoring midway through the
second period with a goal from Justin Clark but Niagara responded seven
minutes later with a Mikko Sivonen tally. In the third, NU's Mike Isherwood
notched the game-winning goal at 9:37. Greg Gardner made 33 saves in the
winning effort and Kevin O'Malley 15 in the loss. Rensselear and Ferris
State got upset wins versus No. 8 Boston University and No. 9 Ohio State,
respectively. Of Saturday's 13 regular-season contests, 2 were won by 3
goals, 5 were 2-goal decisions and 6 were decided by a goal. Other winners
on the night: Alaska-Anchorage, Bowling Green, Canisius, Maine, Michigan
State, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Northern Michigan, Notre Dame and
Wisconsin.
