I have a round trip rate for the airfare from:
Bangor on Northwest Airlines: $341.00
From Boston on Northwest Airlines: $251.50
I have contacted a travel agent Jack & I use quite a lot, Tamera Dewar, who
works out of Michigan, and is/was president of the Michigan State fan club.
She will also get a better room rate at the Doubletree, across from the rink,
where the team is staying, but she has to know how many folks want to go. I
will gladly help this effort, if you want to email me privately!
Those of you who go out west, do NOT miss the luncheon, which reportedly draws
2-300 hardy fans, and will feature Coach Walsh as a speaker, along with the
Nebraska Coach, I believe. I do not have any info on the cost or location at
present, but will hopefully be able to get that if anyone is interested!
