I have always monitored the Hockey East and Maine's sports and hockey
sites on the web, but just imagine my delight when finding this
newsgroup! Now, along with my duties as official scorer and public
address announcer for the Maine hockey team, I can keep in touch with
those who follow Maine hockey closely.

If anyone has questions about what happens in the scorers box during
home Maine games, referee interpretations of plays during home Maine
games, or the NCAA rules in general, please contact me at

By the way, work has already begun on the first Official Public Address
Announcer Web Site. The site will cater to PA announcers from both
collegiate and professional sports. (A good portion of the site will be
dedicated to college hockey!). And it is created and maintained by a
true Maine native.

If you care to check the site out, take note that it is still under
construction (about 80% completed). You can find it at
http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Sideline/4204/. Thanks in advance
for checking it out, and I'm glad to be here.
