Sharks reassign Montgomery to Kentucky

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- The San Jose Sharks
reassigned center Jim Montgomery on Thursday to their
top AHL affiliate in Kentucky.

Montgomery signed with the Sharks before the season
and had 13 goals and 48 points in 38 games in the AHL.
He was recalled from Kentucky on Jan. 2.

He had one goal and seven points in 28 games with San
Jose, including a three-point game against Chicago on
Feb. 14. The arrival of Bill Lindsay, who was acquired
by San Jose on Tuesday in a trade with Calgary,
necessitated the move.
