I guess Nathan didn't go up towards Grosse Pointe the way I did today.  I found it amazing how many abandoned houses we saw.  I do think the downtown area is a lot nicer than I expected.

Subject: Detroit opinion

Detroit is a fine city - the buidgings are old but few abandoned or  
shuttered-up. It is better than expected. Plus the People Mover is  
great. Only 50 cents and goes all around downtown.

But Ford Field s#cks as a hockey venue. Nothing good to say about it.
