Can't ever plan too early! That is my motto.

Hi, I am Kathy Martin - new to the list but not many of you - and have been
here in the Twin Cities all of my life and watching Gopher Hockey for the
last 20 years. I am good friends with your Cruise Director, Carol White,
and have been coming to your Frozen Four dinners for a long time. I am by
trade an administrative assistant and have organized many events in my long
career. Hope that is resume enough.

I tell you this as I am willing to be the coordinator for the Frozen Four
dinner in 2002 when the tourney is here in St. Paul. I plan on using Carol
for lots of input, but was wondering if you would trust someone you have
only seen a few times before to put this together for you.

I have already scoped out one place in St. Paul and plan on doing some more
scoping around the time of the Frozen Four this year. I also plan on
calling a few hotels around the area to see if we can get a group rate.

So, what I need from all of you is to know I have your vote of confidence
and if I do, what kind of food you like and if you think the possibility you
will be in St. Paul is a good one - regardless if your team gets in or not -
so I can tell if there is enough interest for a group rate (usually need to
guarantee at least 20-25 rooms to get that).

Please e-mail back to me at my home e-mail: [log in to unmask] I want to be
sure that I don't miss any responses by getting them mixed up with the list
mail.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kathy
