clip" but all I receive is audio. Anyone video?
The "magpie" in Canto LXXXI -- "thou art a swollen magpie in a fitful
sun/Half black half white" (recalling the extended metaphor in Parzival:
Ist zwivel herzen nachgebur....) gives us an insight into Pound
understanding of the his own mind, as both passive antennae and conscious
power directed by the will. Lewis's portrait of him emphasizes the duality
of Pound's psyche.
