Real question is, in regards to Maine hosting a regional, would NC$$ ever
accept a bid for a place that holds 5640'ish when they have other bids with
arenas that are larger?

The NCAA minimum seating requirement for a regional is currently 4,000 so BU
can submit a bid to host at Agganis Arena (cap. 6,224).
Only time will tell if they do, or if continue to submit bids to host at the
DCU Center. In fact, the only Hockey East schools that could not submit a
bid to host at the school's arena are Providence and Merrimack.
