North Dakota barely edged out Michigan State in the first battle for the
ceramic dalmatian. Boston College and Michigan were nip and tuck for third
and fourth place. The top eight teams appeared on all the ballots, the 9th
team (Providence) appeared on all but one.
The WCHA, CCHA and HEA each have four teams in the top 12. No ECAC team
made it, the closest was Cornell who were five votes short.
We had 12 votes this week, 5 West (4 WCHA, 1 CCHA) and 7 East (4 HEA, 2 ECAC
and 1 MAAC).
