It is the attitude that it does not matter where they come from ....(or what
their grades are or what their character is) that is symbolic of the
hypocrisy of amateur college athletics...
 
what is wrong with the Gophers emphasizing Minnesota players since they are
the University of Minnesota subsidized by Mn taxpayers? Now if they want to
recruit Russians to play in the NHL so be it- the logical conclusion is that
colleges should go all out and just bring the hired guns- terrific-
