Well time again for a recap of the coach's comments on the team as
heard on WZON this morning.

1. Still don't know who will be in the lineup this weekend because of
injuries and sickness affecting team(and coach)

2. Really haven't had a full squad yet and is looking at the tournement
after Christmas as a chance to finally have the whole team healthy and
ready to go, Metcalf and Richardson will be ready to go then.

3. May get a sellout in Portland and that is a real important game.
As is the Friday game. Walsh said that the reason this game was
scheduled was there were no other open nights that worked for other
teams(non-conference) to play there and he would never choose to play
this game there in the current chase for HE points. He said though
that the point of playing in Portland is the big picture for the team
and the athletic dept. in that it will showcase the team and help in
gaining support down the road and whatnot. He said Crowder was more
than willing to play there as opposed to play in Alfond a second night.

4. He thinks NU is top 4 in the league and like his bears aren't
getting the scoring chances and he is a little surprised they aren't
doing better. They are the opposite of the bears in that they have 16
players who are Juniors or Seniors as opposed to the Bears who are
heavily reliant on Frosh and Sophs.

Thats all he really had to say. Nothing too insightful but some stuff
to chew on.
