Hadn't  Pound  wrote anything about Griffith? I remember Birth of the
Nation  mentioned  somewhere  in Cantos (but the canto I forgot, so it
would  be  very  nice  if someone would remind it). Personally I doubt if
there are any films besides Griffith's deserving to be called art.
