Carroll Cox has said what needs to be said about anti-Semitism: that it is
never in order. But, as he has also remarked, to condemn the state of
Israel's treatment of the Palestinians is not anti-Semitic. It is good to
know, and necessary to remember now and at all times, that just as there
were "Righteous Gentiles", there are "Righteous Jews" who do recognise the
human rights of the Palestinian people. An aspect of Pound's error, his
lapsing into evil, was his over-riding such vital distinctions in clarity.
