Cindy Biron (Lewiston, ME) notched three points (1 goal and 2 assists) to
lead Maine to a 4-1 win over Mercyhurst Saturday in Erie, PA.

After being shutout the night before, Maine trailed 1-0 entering the third
period but exploded to light the lamp 4 times in the final stanza.

Maine will return to action Saturday and Sunday with games against
Northeastern and Providence on the road.

The Black Bears NCAA record now stands at 5-5.  Last year Maine won only 6
NCAA games, if memory serves me correctly.

The Lady Black Bears are next home December 7 at 7:00 against Wayne State.
