Just got back from the game, they were lucky to get out of there with a tie.
 
One thing that REALLY impressed me was the number of Maine fans that
attended the game.  I think we almost outnumbered the Merrimack fans.  We
really out-yelled the fans at the end of the third period -- I'm still
hoarse from trying to start some M-A-I-N-E -- GO BLUE cheers.  I like to
think that it helped the team get the tie.
 
Brendan Walsh received another 10 minute misconduct penalty for diving at
the end of the third period.  Too bad -- we could have used him in the OT.
 
Coach Walsh was his usual animated self -- he does a great job balancing on
the top of the boards while yelling at the officials.
 
It's great to see them playing again.
