It seemed as if there was a good turnout of Black Bear fans down in
Providence (I was listening to the game with Dan). I could hear the
"M-A-I-N-E Go Blue" cheer, a few "Let's Go Maine"(s), and loud cheers after
each Black Bear goal. The Providence announcers even mentioned the good
turnout.
Actually, I was very impressed with the Providence announcers. They had
great things to say about Morrison, and in general said alot of nice things
about the Black Bears. However, I did note a couple of errors in their
comments as follows:
* Unless they did serious renovations at Conte Forum, BC still plays on a
regulation size rink, NOT AN OLYMPIC ONE.
* Northeastern did do serious renovations a few years back and now has a
regulation size rink.
Oh well, nobody's perfect.
Let's hope for a good turnout at Matthews tomorrow night. Now that Dan and
I have given up the Bruins tickets, at least we don't have to choose games
tomorrow night. Now that I think of it, even if we had the tickets there
wouldn't be much of a choice. I'd be parked in a seat at Matthews no
matter what.
