I'm going to miss seeing DiPietro play next year, and think that it will
cost BU more than a few victories. Let's hope the other Hockey East
coaches didn't hurt themselves by doing backflips when they heard the news.

One of my co-workers (who played hockey at BU) said that he thinks DiPietro
will go in the first round. Personally, I think he would have been better
off staying on Commonwealth Ave for a couple of years (and facing the
competitive schedule that BU plays) rather than riding the bus in the minor
leagues. How many 19 year old goalies do you see in the NHL.

I also believe that it takes goalies longer to develop into quality NHL
players, and they can be ruined if too much is expected of them too soon.
My own Bruins team has ruined many a talented goalie (I still hate Harry
Sinden for what he did to Matt Delgiudice, and I'd have to take my socks
off to count the others on that list).

On a more positive note, thanks to Mr. Larose for the update on Cory --
we'll look forward to seeing him at the Fleece Center.
