Preach on, Treads. Even though its omission kept Dierdre's garbage out
of the BDN for once, women's hockey still deserves "mainstream"
coverage. It's the best kept secret around. The fact that the team even
had a media day should tell you what direction UMaine feels the team is
going in.
Teams like women's hockey and track and swimming work just as hard as
any other team around here; they certainly deserve some coverage for
their labors.
