I have to say that I could have. I don't know about anyone else, but
besides being a UMaine/college hockey fan, I'm a huge NHL fan. I could
name you several players on various teams throughout the league that I
like to follow. I've been watching the Ducks from the beginning (10 years
ago) - any team owned by the Mouse is a team I cheer for....But even so,
why shouldn't we discuss the Ducks and cheer for them. This list has
always tracked its alumni no matter who they played for and no matter what
league they were in. Two of our own have a chance at getting their names
on the cup - its only appropriate that we acknowledge it and follow their
progress.

Besides, I'm from Boston - I have no team locally to cheer for - even
though I still say every fall, "Maybe this is the year!"
