Seriously, did anyone even see that hit? A charging call is ridiculous,
he just followed him into the boards and hit him. If Voce hadn't scored
it would have been a legal hit, and people are jumping on Ryan saying
he tried to injure Voce. He deserved 2 minutes for hitting after the
whistle or boarding, but he wasn't trying to injure anyome more than
with any other hit. I am not saying that it was the best decision to
make, but he didn't deserve even the 5 minute major, let alone to be
suspended. It's about time we have someone with a little fire in them
again. We have been much to passive as a team since Robert Ek and
Brendan Walsh left. I like to see Metcalf, Lynch, and Ryan getting into
it and showing people that we aren't just gonna take them beating on
us. The defense of this Maine team is the key part to how well our
season goes. It's their job to go out there and make sure we don't get
pushed around, so let them do it and support them.
