I have put a link on the home page of the official UMaine Hockey web site
www.umaine.edu/hockey )to a message board that was established by Jim
Baines, of MaineBeat.com. Get well wishes for Coach and his family can be
posted there or, if you want to sent a more private message to Shawn, you
can send it to: mailto:[log in to unmask] and I'll make sure Shawn gets
your message just as soon as possible.

Unable to find an e-mail link directly to Coach Walsh on the UMaine hockey
pages so perhaps this will get to him somehow:

1. Do everything the doctors tell you. They are in charge. They know best.

2. Unless they played for Jackie Parker. In that case, get a second, third
and fourth opinion.

Our thoughts are prayers are with you. Come home soon, well and completely
cured. Will be seeing Chris Imes and his new, cured, bride on the 15th.
While your cases are different, you and she have one very important thing
in common - an outstanding attitude.
