What does this mean, precisely? For me it could signify that Pound, in
advocating race hatred, anti-semitism, hierarchical government, sexism,
fascist dictatorship, is setting these views up in the Cantos metaphorically
in such a way that (from a Blakean perspective) they become converted into
their opposites, despite Pound’s CONSCIOUS INTENTIONS.

well, if he did do this, it failed. I don't know of anyone who reads the
Cantos to bask in Pound's anti-Semitism, or his other faults. do you know of
anyone who uses Pound or the Cantos as a support for their antihuman
activities? and despite what DP says, Pound was not Sgt. Moll. for example
his attack on Jewish Bankers was completely wrongheaded -- stupid actually --
but his attacks on the banks were anything but -- and would be valid today.
I think Pound was many things, some of them ugly, and some not. I don't what
useful critical point is being served by your CONSCIOUS INTENTION to keep the
debate focused on the ugly, and your attempt to make every aspect of Pound
conform to your own distorted amalgram of evil.
