A point on chronology.   Doob indicates that it is often impossible to
determine the date of composition of a given broadcast. One would do well to
bear this particular editorial difficulty in mind when situating Pound
statements in the context of contemporary events, or more precisely, in the
context of the news of contemporary events that was reaching him.
