Colorado College routs Michigan Tech tonight 9-1, outshooting the Huskies
50-21 for the game and going 4 of 8 on the power play. Penalties weren't
bad until the second half of the third period, when 7 minors and one major
were given out. We didn't get that one completely straightened out of
who got what up in the press box til after the game. Toby Petersen
finished a hat trick in the second period, but his last goal was an oops
by the Tech defense. The puck had gone behind David Weninger in the
crease, and one of their guys accidentally knocked it in while trying to
clear it out. Also, on the first goal of the third period, Scott Swanson's
assist gave him 100 career points at CC. 4 other players also had 3-point
nights.
 
Same two teams tomorrow night (and if CC wins, same two teams next weekend
