Not gonna happen. Taylor will be coach of the year for about the 4th time,
which certainly begs the question of why a guy who is repeatedly canonized
for leading his team to incredible improvements in their standing isn't
also considered somehow responsible for the horrible years that team
endures to set up his "comebacks". Teflon evidentally is not solely an
ingrediant used in the making of half-baked political ideologues...

I applaud Yale for their good season, but Grillo is a *much* better choice
for COTY. Of course, the league's best coach still hasn't won the award --
but since it's the only league hardware he hasn't carried off, somehow I
doubt he cares.

Stirling was not the difference in the Cornell game, at least. Brown's
quickness and intelligent play won that day. They looked confident and
comfortable. They are going to kick some ass in the playoffs unless their
opponent is prepared. BTW, the same goes for Dartmouth as a dark horse.

The ECAC is wide open in the stretch run. Yale and Clarkson have run away
with the top two slots. But the other contenders are solid. I would not
be at all surprised if we had more than one upset in the quarterfinals,
which makes it all the more important to, say, fight for finishing 4th
rather than 5th (as one of the top 3 could easily be knocked off before
Lake Placid).
