Clarkson beat RPI by a score of 5 to 3 at the ECAC semifinals in Lake
Placid.  The first period was fairly uneventful, with Clarkson scoring one
goal.  The second period was very intense, with Clarkson scoring their
remaining four goals and RPI scoring all three of theirs.  The third period
was absolutely uneventful, with no goals and RPI unable to psyche
themselves up to close the gap.
