CLARKSON IS REGULAR SEASON CHAMP AS CORNELL STUMBLES TWICE
Knights Rally To Tie Dartmouth And Take Crown By A Point
In an improbable finish to a 132-game league schedule, Clarkson won the
1990-91
ECAC regular season title by rallying to tie 0-19-3 Dartmouth, 3-3, at Hanover.
Mark Green's second goal of the night, at 18:08 of the third period, gave the
Knights the point they would need to pass Cornell who lost twice at home to
RPI(5-4) and Vermont (7-4). Harvard took fourth place by sweeping Clarkson &
St. Lawrence.
Peter Ciavaglia Wins ECAC Scoring Crown
Harvard SR C Peter Ciavaglia became the second player in ECAC history to win
two ECAC Season Scoring titles when he finished at 23-34-57, five points ahead
of teammate Ted Donato.Ciavaglia also won as a sophomore in 1989.

Rogles Edges Roy For ECAC Goaltending Honors
Clarkson SO G Chris Rogles is the new ECAC Season Goaltending Champ with an
average of 2.98, edging out Harvard's Allain Roy, who finished at 2.99. Roy
led the ECAC in 1989.

ECAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ted Donato, Harvard F. The SR from Dedham,MA had
2 goals in each of Harvard's wins over Clarkson and St. Lawrence that gave
the Crimson the 4th and final home ice spot.Against Clarkson, Donato scored
two late goals to give Harvard 3-2, and 4-3 leads. Against St. Lawrence
his two first period goals launched the 4-2 win.
ECAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK: Neil Little, RPI G. FR from Medicine Hat, ALTA.
stopped 33 shots and backboned a 5-4 win at Cornell.

Paul Haggerty,Army-SR RW scored at 2:06 of OT to lift Army past Brown, 3-2.
Steve King,Brown-SR RW had a pair of goals, including the game-winner, as
Brown beat Princeton, 4-2.
Hugo Belanger & Mike Casselman, Clarkson- Each F had a 3-assist night.
Belanger at Harvard and Casselman at Dartmouth.
Mike Lappin & Andy Pritchard, SLU- Each F went 3-3-6 on the weekend, giving
Pritchard 13-12-25 over final 8 ECAC games.
