Aronson hails from Minnetonka and played college D-3. His team won the NCAA
championship in their division this spring, I believe.
 
Heard their GM on TV, he was asked about why they chose a local kid, out of
all the top draft pics, Europeans, etc. ?
 
His answer was: Aronson was the pick of their scouting team, who he depends
on to bring them the players that they need.
 
P.S. I don't know if he was an undrafted player?
