You really shouldn't claim this is that different from the pro game.  The
two guys you listed from the NHL have exactly 0 championships.  Guys like
Yzerman, Shanahan, and Modano all had to play team hockey and sacrifice
some scoring in order to win their cups.  The real statement here is that
ESPN has no clue about either college or NHL hockey.  In fairness, I
think they're just trying to find a way to sell their product; something
they have struggled to do w/ the NHL game for years now.  Good point
though, hockey is very much a team game, more so than the other 3 big
'team' sports.
