A couple observations on the Gophers' schedule, as posted on
INFO-HOCKEY-L by Erik:

1.  They go 4 weeks without playing any games (nothing between
the Showcase and the Mariucci Classic).  Ouch!
 
2.  And it's 7 weeks without playing a league game.
 
Woog better have a plan for keeping his players focused and in
practice during December.
