I visited the HoF last April with three friends from Cornell.
I enjoyed the new installation (three of us had been to the old one
two years ago); all of us, however, felt that it was a little bit more
"high tech" than necessary, and one of us felt that there was not enough
"Gretzky stuff" (the old HoF had a 1-hour video loop on The Great One)
and not enough "historical highlight stuff" (like the old HoF had on
video) and too mmany "hands-on games."

Now for the colege hockey content: in the HoF college hockey
exhibit, you can specify areas of the U.S and Canada on an electronic map and
consult still videos containing team pictures and other data from area
college teams. On one such video, the Cornell Big Red were listed as
the "Cornell Engineers."

One of us (not I) worked in the Cornell Sports Information
Director's office. He made sure that the S.I.D. sent a letter to the
HoF informing them of the slip-up ...
