Just for discussion purposes, USA Hockey & the NCAA leave it up to the ref.
Canada says a Xcheck above the shoulder = 5 + game.  I like the Canadian
idea better.  Sticks should remain on the ice where the puck is (most of the
time).
 
I saw the hit in the NoDak - UMinn game (courtesy of MSC).  That call was
deserved.  My screen resolution does not give me a great view of the
Commodore hit.  But hasn't Commodore been noticed before as a "chippy"
player?  I think something about that hit the Clarkson board after the NoDak
series.
 
Another topic, while I'm burning up the emails.   Has any team since 1980
done a First to Worst?  Clarkson is close.  The upcoming Brown game on the
18th may go a long way to determining if Tech misses the playoffs for the
1st time since 1974 (For argumentave purposes, Vermont does not count.  Had
they played all 22 games, they would NOT have finished 11 or 12.)
