> LEGER FINALIST FOR HOCKEY's NATIONAL HUMANITARIAN AWARD: Senior Jim Leger is
> one of 5 finalist named Friday for the fifth annual College Hockey
> Humanitarian Award. The award, which is presented annually to college hockey's
> finest citizen, will be presented Friday, April 7, in Providence, R.I. as part
> of the festivities surrounding the NCAA Division I Frozen Four. The right
> winger is an alternate captain of this year's squad and was selected as
> UMaine's Unsung Hero Award last year and Most Inspirational Player the season
> before. The Saugus, Mass., native has tallied 12 points this season (6-6-12),
> and also excels in the classroom, where he has earned a 3.67 grade-point
> average in public management. Leger was selected by UMaine President Dr. Peter
