I'd vote no on Ford Field. I'm sure that a Frozen Four there would be set up like the basketball Final Fours, with the rink in the middle of the stadium. Most people I know who have bought seats from the lottery for the Final Four say that you can hardly see anything at all.

Subject: Frozen Four 2009-11 Update: Thoughts?

The NC$$ today announced it narrowed the bid cities from 12 to the final 6.
Committee members will visit all the locations for site visits before we
present to them at Indianapolis in June. Thanks to everyone here who gave
great input which helped us craft our Washington, DC bid to make it into the
final six.

Washington, DC MCI Center Naval Academy Atlantic Hockey
Philadelphia Wachovia Center Niagra/Rider MAAC
Tampa Bay St. Pete Forum UAH CHA
Boston BankNorth Garden Hockey East
St. Paul XCel Energy Minnesota WCHA
Detroit Ford Field CCHA

Note: Detroit bidding on 2010 and 11 Phrozen Phour's only.

Interested in everyone's thoughts on the remaining finalists-- positive or
negative.

'til then. Carpe Diem.

Make it a Great Day.
