I don't know, but I wonder if they took them off because they got too
much abuse.  I have (had, now, I guess) seats in Mariucci a few rows up
from the scorers' table, so I tried to learn the refs by sight this year.
You could have recognized Buzzy by the caterpillar above his lip.  He and
Berlew (sp?) with his five o'clock shadow are the two most easily recognized
refs in the WCHA:  I think most Gopher season ticket holders can spot
Buzzy's 'stache!
