Gophers coach Don Lucia has been named head coach of the 2002
WCHA All-Star men's hockey team that will play several games in Italy in
August.  Lucia's assistant coaches are North Dakota's Dean Blais and
Denver's Steve Miller.

The WCHA All-Stars will leave for Italy on Aug. 10, and play three or four
games against teams from Italy and two other European countries before
returning on Aug. 19.
