FIVE GAMES TO BE BROADCAST OVER THE INTERNET

New Rochelle, NY--The Iona College men's hockey team announces today that it
has reached an agreement with BroadcastVarieties.com to broadcast five home
games over the internet.

The first game will be Jan. 19 against American International. The other
games slated are Feb. 2 vs Fairfield, Feb. 8 vs UConn, Feb. 15 vs Sacred
Heart, and Mar. 1 vs Canisius.

Peter Iskowitz returns to Iona to do play-by-play after spending one season
with the Gaels in 1991-92, playing under then assistant coach Frank Bretti.
Iskowitz graduated with a degree in Communications from the University of
South Florida. He is currently a freelance assistant director, stage
manager and camera technician for the Sunshine Network in Orlando, FL. The
East Brunswick, NJ native also has worked in the same capacity for ESPN and
FOX sports.

Patrick Lyons '96, assistant A.D. for compliance and head golf coach at
Iona, will be the color commentator. Lyons played four seasons for the
Gaels from 1992-1996 tallying 80 goals and 90 assists during his tenure.
The 170 points are currently fifth on Iona's varsity scoring list. Lyons
also spent three as an assistant coach under Bretti before assuming his
current position.
